How Rebates & Specials Work
1. Book Your Energy Consultation
Call or book online to schedule a no-obligation consultation at your home. Our certified technician evaluates your current equipment—furnace age and condition, AC efficiency rating, heat pump compatibility, ductwork quality—and discusses your comfort goals. We then recommend an upgrade path that balances efficiency, cost, and eligibility for the strongest rebates available.

2. Confirm FortisBC Eligibility
Once you approve the scope of work, we verify which FortisBC rebate programs apply to your situation. Common qualifying projects include central AC upgrades, heat pump conversions, high-efficiency furnace replacements, or dual-fuel hybrid systems. Eligibility requirements are straightforward: equipment must meet technical standards, and installation must be performed by a certified trade ally (that’s us). The rebate tier depends on the efficiency rating of the equipment you select.

Rebate Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
FortisBC offers energy-efficiency rebates on qualifying heating and cooling installations across British Columbia, covering equipment like high-efficiency furnaces, heat pump upgrades, and central air conditioning installations. As a FortisBC Trade Ally, Elevated HVAC delivers pre-approved work, so eligibility is confirmed before your project even starts. We stay current on program changes each year, so you always get accurate guidance on which rebates apply to your specific upgrade.
Rebate amounts vary significantly by equipment type and efficiency rating—high-efficiency furnaces and heat pumps typically unlock the largest incentives, while the exact figure depends on your current system and the upgrade tier you select. We provide a full written rebate estimate before the project begins, so you know your net cost after incentives with no surprises at completion.
No — we handle the entire rebate application process for you, from start to finish. Our team submits all required paperwork directly to FortisBC, including efficiency certifications, equipment specifications, and proof of installation. You never have to track down a form or chase an approval status. Once approved, FortisBC mails your rebate cheque straight to your home address.
Yes, absolutely. FortisBC rebates and our senior and first responder discounts stack on top of each other rather than replacing one another. An eligible senior installing a high-efficiency heat pump, for example, receives both the FortisBC rebate on the equipment and our separate senior discount applied to our labour, maximizing total project savings without any extra paperwork on your end.
High-efficiency furnaces, heat pumps — including central ducted and mini-split systems — and central air conditioning units commonly qualify for FortisBC incentives. Select tankless water heater upgrades and ductwork improvements may also qualify, though specifics vary by program year. We confirm exact eligibility during your consultation and list the applicable rebate on your written estimate.
FortisBC typically processes complete applications within four to six weeks of receiving all required documentation. Because we submit your paperwork immediately after installation is finished and inspected, the clock starts as soon as we wrap up the job — there's no added delay waiting on us to file anything on your behalf. We track the application status throughout.
No hidden conditions. FortisBC rebate requirements are straightforward: the equipment has to meet a minimum efficiency standard, the installation must be performed by a certified trade ally like us, and the work has to take place on an eligible home or business in British Columbia. We handle every technical requirement on our end, so there are no surprise restrictions or denied claims at payout.
Yes. Beyond FortisBC's provincial rebate programs, qualified first responders — including firefighters, police, paramedics, and nurses — along with seniors 65 and older, receive an additional discount on our labour rates. We also run seasonal promotions on select equipment brands throughout the year, so it's worth asking what's currently available when you book your consultation with us.
No. Rebate eligibility depends entirely on the equipment you choose and how it's installed, not on how you maintain it afterward. That said, pairing a newly rebated system with regular maintenance is a smart move — it keeps your manufacturer warranty active, protects your investment, and catches small issues before they turn into expensive repairs down the road.
You contact us directly — there's no third-party rebate company or call center to navigate. Any question about your rebate status, the application timeline, or required paperwork lands with Elevated HVAC, and we track it directly with FortisBC on your behalf. That single point of contact means faster answers and no confusion about who's responsible for what.
